CRC Coordinators Receive Guidance on Physical Facilities, Teaching Improvements, and Student Welfare
A discussion forum and review meeting for CRC coordinators under the District Primary Education Department was held on Monday under the chairmanship of the District Primary Education Officer. A total of 86 CRC coordinators from eight talukas of the district attended the meeting under the Samagra Shiksha Vadodara initiative. At the beginning of the program, the District Project Engineer was honored with a book presentation.
The meeting provided guidance on issues such as school infrastructure surveys, campus maintenance, water tank cleaning, sanitation management, midday meal room upkeep, and repair of dilapidated classrooms. The District Project Engineer clarified the roles of CRCs, principals, and TRPs, urging the district committee to prioritize schools’ primary needs.
The District Project Coordinator issued instructions on maintaining online two-diary compliance, achieving school visit targets, remedial teaching based on student report cards, proper utilization of PM Shri school grants, and maintaining accounts. Information was shared on gender education, self-defense training, sanitary napkin usage, and school cleanliness.
The Accounts Officer emphasized timely payments through PFMS and organizing programs as per circulars. Guidance was provided on Gyan Kunj, computer labs, internet facilities, and improving student attendance. The need for assessment camps for students with special needs, free bus pass schemes, and special care for identified children was highlighted.
The meeting discussed upcoming plans for Gunotsav, the annual action plan for FLN 2026, aligning with excellent school standards, and promoting innovative experiments in education. The District Primary Education Officer called for collective efforts toward child-centered education and making Vadodara a leader in the field of education. The meeting concluded with the national anthem.
