Pakistan team to play series before Asia Cup, will face these teams

The Asia Cup will be played next month, in September. The first match is on September 9. Meanwhile, while the Indian team is resting, the Pakistan team is about to begin its preparations shortly. The Pakistan team will play its first match in the Asia Cup on September 12, but before that, it will play another series involving two more teams. All three teams are the same ones that will be seen playing in the Asia Cup.

Series between three nations to be played in Sharjah

The Asia Cup matches will be played in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, but before that, the excitement of T20 cricket will also be seen in Sharjah. Indeed, the T20 series will be played between Pakistan, Afghanistan, and UAE. It is set to begin on August 29. On the very first day, the teams of Pakistan and Afghanistan will face each other. On the next day, i.e., August 30, Pakistan will play again against UAE.

Final to be held on September 7, followed by start of Asia Cup

All three teams will play two matches each against one another, after which the top two teams in the points table will play the final. It will conclude on September 7, i.e., two days before the Asia Cup begins. It is believed that all teams will field only those players whom they intend to give opportunities to in the Asia Cup. This will give them a chance to prepare.

Bangladesh team to also play T20 series

Apart from these three, eight other teams are participating in the Asia Cup, among which the Bangladesh team is set to play a three-match T20 series against the Netherlands, starting from August 30, with the last match to be played on September 3. That is, among the major teams, except India, all other teams will be seen playing somewhere or the other. But Team India will enter the Asia Cup directly. Another important point is that it is not clear whether Team India will organize a camp before the Asia Cup or not. It will be interesting to see whether the teams that play continuously and then enter the field for the Asia Cup will benefit, or those that rest and then enter the field directly will benefit.
