Surat. The Human Cell has exposed a prostitution racket operating under the guise of a hotel in the Jahangirpura area of Surat. In this raid, police arrested a total of 22 people, including 13 sex workers, some of whom were Thai girls, 5 customers, and 4 managers.

Police had received intelligence that this illegal business was being run from the Hotel Mandap. The investigation also revealed that a brothel had been busted at the same location once before, but despite this, illegal activities had started again here.

Since the arrested women also include foreign nationals, the police are treating this matter with greater seriousness. Police are now conducting a thorough investigation into who and which gang brought these foreign women here.

Police have registered a case against all four operators, and they, along with the customers, are being interrogated. Police have stated that strict action against such illegal businesses in the city will continue. This incident has once again raised questions about the network of prostitution in the city.
