Jamnagar. The Government Dental College and Hospital in Jamnagar, Gujarat, has been honored for its campaigns to raise public awareness about oral health and the harms caused by tobacco.
The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has awarded Jamnagar’s Government Dental College with a prestigious award.
It was stated that this honor is a matter of pride not only for the institution but for the entire state of Gujarat. A post on social media platform ‘X’ stated, “Maintaining healthy teeth is extremely important for overall health.”
The Government Dental College and Hospital, Jamnagar, has been honored with the prestigious National Award by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare for the second consecutive year for organizing various programs on public awareness regarding oral and dental health as well as the harms of tobacco consumption.
Earlier, the Jamnagar Collector congratulated the Government Dental College and Hospital. The Collector’s office wrote on social media platform ‘X’, “Heartiest congratulations to the Government Dental College and Hospital, Jamnagar, for bringing pride to the state by winning the National Award from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.”
