Mumbai (Maharashtra): Demonstrating a powerful message of unity and compassion, the Abhay Bhutada Foundation has announced a contribution of ₹8 crore to assist flood-affected areas in Maharashtra. Out of this amount, ₹5 crore has been provided to the Maharashtra Chief Minister’s Relief Fund, which will be used for immediate relief and rehabilitation work following the devastating floods across the state.

A check for ₹5 crore was personally presented to Maharashtra’s Honorable Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis in Mumbai. Expressing heartfelt gratitude for this generous support, Mr. Fadnavis stated that this contribution would provide new momentum and direction to the state government’s rehabilitation efforts.

In addition to the assistance provided to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund, the foundation has made an additional contribution of ₹3 crore to local organizations working in the flood-affected areas of Marathwada. This assistance aims to help restore farmers and families whose livelihoods, homes, and hopes were all washed away in the floods.

In emotional words, it was stated:

“Contributing to society is not just a responsibility but a spiritual inspiration. Being born in a district like Latur, which suffered the most devastation from the floods, this disaster has touched me personally very deeply. Our farmers and society are resilient, but our collective support is essential for them to stand up again. I appeal to every citizen of Maharashtra – come forward and help from the heart.”
