For the first time, a cluster-level Yoga and Volleyball tournament is being organized at Nanduba English Academy (CBSE Board), located in the DC Patel Navnirman Campus, Althan area of Surat city, operated by CB Patel Sports Campus.

The competition will be held in two phases. The first phase, the National Yoga Tournament, will take place from July 31 to August 3, 2025, with participation from a total of 600 students from Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan. They will showcase their yoga skills in the Under-14, Under-17, and Under-19 age categories. Over 200 students from Surat are also participating.

The second phase, the Volleyball Cluster Tournament, will be held from August 5 to 8, 2025, featuring over 60 teams. This includes more than 20 teams from Surat and over 40 teams from outside Surat. A total of 650+ players will demonstrate their skills in the Under-14, 17, and 19 categories. Both competitions will be held at the Nanduba English Academy campus. This event is being organized for the first time with the special support of the academy’s chairman.

The school principal stated that the event was approved after presenting a proposal to the CBSE Board’s sports head during a meeting in Delhi. Following an inspection, the board confirmed that all necessary criteria were met and granted permission for the tournament. This event will provide students from Surat with national-level competitive experience and further boost interest in sports.
