In Saran district of Bihar, an accident occurred on Monday morning when a pickup van overturned, resulting in the death of five people, including one woman, and injuring fifteen others.
The van was traveling from Dighwara to Hajipur carrying passengers and maize. Near Bajitpur village, one of the van’s tires burst causing the vehicle to lose control and flip over. This incident resulted in the deaths of five individuals, including a woman, and injuries to more than 15 passengers.
All the injured have been admitted to the Sonpur referral hospital for treatment. The identities of the deceased have not yet been established. The police have registered a case and are investigating the incident.
