Israel-Iran Conflict: Trump Appeals for Evacuation of Tehran

Washington, June 17. The US President Donald Trump has urged the people of Tehran to evacuate the city amid escalating tensions between Israel and Iran.

Trump wrote on his social media platform ‘Truth’, “Iran should have signed the ‘deal’ that I had told them to. It is a shame and a waste of human life. I have repeatedly said that Iran cannot have nuclear weapons. Everyone should immediately evacuate Tehran.”

This post and announcement came after Iran fired missiles at Israel’s capital Tel Aviv, resulting in the deaths of eight people. Subsequently, Israel retaliated, attacking during a live broadcast by the Iranian state media agency IRIB in Tehran, killing over 227 Iranians, while the total death toll in Israel has now reached 24.
