The Mikasa City Museum’s branch facility, the « Forest Materials Exhibition Room, » closed on the 6th due to the aging of the building. This facility, which had conveyed the history of forestry and nature in a city where forests cover 80% of the area for 34 years, has ended its role. The stored items will continue to be preserved and utilized for the region.
