UN Mission Hopes 2026 Will Be a Year of Dialogue and Stability in Libya
Tripoli – The United Nations Support Mission in Libya expressed hope that 2026 will be a year dominated by constructive dialogue, during which the spirit of consensus among the Libyan people is strengthened, leading to tangible steps towards permanent stability and the consolidation of national cohesion.
This came in a congratulatory message the UN mission addressed to the Libyan people on the occasion of the New Year, in which it affirmed its aspiration for a coming phase characterized by peace and mutual understanding, meeting the aspirations of the Libyan people to consolidate security and stability and build a more stable future.
The United Nations Support Mission in Libya concluded its congratulations with wishes for Libya and its people to enjoy prosperity and peace.
