The Ministry of Education has established clear and organized rules for retaking exams in the third semester.
It affirmed that excuses will not be accepted after three days from the end of the exam period, and that specialized committees will immediately begin reviewing excuses submitted by students according to regulations aimed at achieving fairness and discipline within the educational environment.
The ministry clarified that the opportunity to retake an exam is directly linked to the legitimacy of the excuse provided, emphasizing the necessity of attaching official documents that support the student’s case, whether they are medical, social, or related to extraordinary circumstances.
The ministry explained that acceptable excuses include health conditions that are documented exclusively through medical reports approved by the “Sehhaty” platform, death of a first-degree relative, as well as extraordinary circumstances that require accompanying a sick person or visiting governmental bodies or health centers at the same time as the exam, provided that proof is submitted.
