70 researchers from Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University participate in launching the second phase of the scientific research and innovation strategy development.

The second phase of the development of the scientific research and innovation strategy was launched, represented by the Dean of Scientific Research, during a workshop attended by the acting president of the university along with a group of researchers and specialists.

Success of the strategy depends on the integration of efforts between researchers and academic administrations, and preparing a stimulating research environment that supports innovation and sustainable development, calling researchers to actively participate in formulating the strategy and contributing to a qualitative leap in the university’s research output.
During the workshop, mechanisms for identifying major challenges that the university, with its research expertise, can help address were reviewed, stating that scientific research must evolve to play an active part in finding solutions to these challenges, and that the Dean is working on preparing a comprehensive research strategy in line with national targets.
