Royal Plaza Surabaya Collaborates with BTN to Promote Cashless Transactions and Digital Banking Education

Pakuwon Group has officially partnered with PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk (BTN) to introduce a cashless transaction ecosystem at the Royal Plaza Surabaya shopping center. This collaboration is expected to accelerate digital adoption in the retail sector, while enhancing shopping comfort and security for visitors.

The Marketing Director of Pakuwon Group explained that this cooperation is a continuation of a similar project that has been successfully implemented at Pakuwon Mall Jogjakarta and Pakuwon Mall Solo. In these two locations, cashless transactions using BTN EDC machines have been ongoing for the last three months.

“This is part of our roadmap to support the cashless society program. In the future, it is possible that we will develop similar collaborations in other malls,” he stated during the signing ceremony at Royal Plaza on Wednesday (4/6/2025).
