Chef Hasan Shares Tips for Cooking Delicious Sacrificial Goat Meat

It’s just a matter of days. For most people who sacrifice goats, the classic question always arises. “What should we cook?” Tired of satay and curry?

After the Open House event launching the June-August 2025 promotion at Excotel Design Hotel Surabaya, Chef Hasan shared tips on keeping the sacrificial meat delicious and hassle-free.

“It can be cooked in various ways, not just satay or curry,” said Chef Hasan.

He suggests grilled goat meat as one of the best options. “Skewer the goat meat, grill it medium rare, then remove and put it into a tongseng stew. Just cook it for a short while, it’s smoky and very tasty,” he explained.
