RADARBANDUNG.ID, SUBANG- Jalancagak Police along with Koramil 0513/Jalancagak, Satpol PP, and the UPTD Education Office, conduct an Integrated Patrol to support the implementation of the curfew policy for students after 21:00 WIB, Sunday night (1/6/2025).

This initiative follows up on the Circular Letter from the Governor of West Java, regarding the restriction of nighttime activities, including in Subang.

This joint operation, revealed by Jakancagak Police Chief Commissioner Dede Suherman, involves personnel comprising the TNI (Koramil), Police (Jalancagak Police), Satpol PP, and the Subang education agency.

“In this operation, we conduct joint actions, involving TNI, Police, Satpol PP, and elements from the education department,” explained Commissioner Dede, Monday (2/6/2025).

According to Commissioner Dede, the activities target locations commonly used for hanging out such as squares, cafes, and other public spaces, with the aim of direct socialization and appeals to students, to refrain from being outside the home after 21:00 WIB.

“In those places, we carry out the operation,” he said.

He also emphasized that this activity is part of implementing the GANAS SULTAN program (Proactive, Comfortable, Safe and Synergistic South Subang) in creating a humane, anticipatory, and synergistic security situation, especially for the younger generation, children.

Its purpose is to prevent juvenile delinquency, which tends towards negative things, and can lead to social disturbances, and potentially lead to criminal acts, such as unwanted incidents like motorcycle gangs, brawls, illegal racing.

“This operation is our effort to prevent criminal acts, such as illegal racing, brawls, and motorcycle gangs, alongside other actions,” he concluded. (anr)

After Their Kiosk Was Demolished, Pineapple Traders in Jalancagak Subang Opt for New Booth, Here's Why

RADARBANDUNG.ID, SUBANG- Three days after their kiosk was demolished, several traders in Subang opted to resume their business in a different way.

One of them can be seen along the main road in Subang.

One trader, Ayi (50), said he continues to sell on the side of the main road in Subang.

The reason, he said, is financial constraints which compelled him and his wife to sell again right in front of their kiosk, now leveled to the ground.

“I have to endure it, even though the conditions are tough. My child is still in high school, and my eldest is in college, so if I don’t sell, where would their education expenses come from, as I’m solely relying on selling,” lamented Ayi when met, Monday (2/6/2025).

He admitted to only opening the booth at that location for three days. During those days, profits were minimal.

“It’s vastly different from when I was at the kiosk. At the kiosk, I could sell 7 quintals per day, now even 1 quintal hasn’t been sold out after three days here. But I have to endure whatever the condition is, if I don’t sell, where would my children’s education expenses come from,” expressed Mang Ayi as he is affectionately known.

“I understand it’s a government regulation. Hopefully, from this, I can find a better place, as promised by the government,” added Ayi.

Observations show that, besides the traders, after the kiosks were cleared on the Subang South Province route, specifically on the Cagak Circle route, several street vendors (PKL) were seen trading again on the roadside.

The street vendors are selling right on the roadside of the Cagak Circle road from the T-junction to the Ciater direction.

This is because the traders claim that after the demolitions they no longer have any business, except trading.

“For daily living expenses, I rely on selling, if I don’t sell what would my family and I eat. I’m forced to sell again, I peddle my goods in the morning, and in the evening we carry them back home,” said Ade, one of the traders, Sunday (1/6/2025). (anr)
