Southern States Receive ₹116 Crore Subsidy Under PMEGP

Distribution of subsidy under PMEGP scheme through virtual medium by Khadi and Village Industries Commission

Hyderabad, the Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) has distributed more than 300 crore rupees of margin money subsidy to 11,480 beneficiaries in the service sector across the country under the Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP). In the southern states of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Puducherry, subsidies amounting to 116 crore rupees were distributed for 4,565 projects, while loans over 343 crore rupees were approved for these projects.

The KVIC has distributed margin money subsidies amounting to approximately 300 crore rupees to 11,480 service sector beneficiaries across the country under PMEGP.
