New Delhi, February 1. The US Congress has banned the use of the artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot DeepSeek in its offices. According to a notice issued by the US Congress, the use of several chatbots has been linked to the upload of dangerous software into the system. The notice also mentioned the risks associated with DeepSeek.
The US Congress stated that due to the rapid development of AI technology, they are facing security and administrative challenges. Currently, DeepSeek is under investigation, which is why it cannot be used in the US Congress offices.
To address any potential threats, a ban has been placed on the use of DeepSeek on all devices issued by the house, including official phones, computers, and tablets.
