License to Operate E-bike taxis was given in the state
The Pravahan Department had issued a notification granting a license to operate e-bike taxis in the state to be effective from December 16th. The government had set a fare of 25 rupees for 5 km and 50 rupees for 10 km. E-bike taxi services had gotten approval in 2021 to ensure the availability of transport for the underprivileged, to support employment, and to make mobility easier.
