On May 31, a non-heritage dragon boat event was held in the ancient city of Anju, Tongliang District, Chongqing City. Reporters at the event site observed that the flower boats on the shore invited the dragon boats by firing rockets. Upon receiving the signal, the dragon boats raced to the flower boats that sent the invitations. The flower boats then tossed ducks into the river, and dragon boat team members dived in to snatch them. The dragon boat that successfully retrieved the ducks would receive a prize from the owner of the flower boat. This non-heritage dragon boat event continues the exciting tradition of competition, bringing spectators into a cultural feast that combines dragon boat racing, non-heritage performances, and immersive experiences.
