On June 9, 2025, the national college entrance examination in China will enter its third day, with most provinces concluding their exams. Areas like Hebei, Shanxi, Jilin, and Jiangsu will finish all tests today, while Beijing, Tianjin, Zhejiang, and Shandong will conclude tomorrow.
Next, candidates will move into the phase of checking their scores and filling out their college preferences, with many regions having already announced relevant dates.
Several provinces conclude college entrance exams today
In 2025, 13.35 million students registered for the national college entrance examination. There are 7,899 examination sites nationwide, consisting of 355,000 examination rooms and 21,000 spare rooms, with 1.05 million invigilators arranged. This year, 100% real-time intelligent monitoring of exam rooms has been achieved.
This year, 29 provinces have implemented a new college entrance exam system, while Tibet and Xinjiang continue to use the traditional model of “Chinese, Mathematics, Foreign Language + Humanities/Social Sciences Comprehensive/Science Comprehensive”.
