Security agencies at the Ministry of Interior have uncovered the circumstances surrounding a video clip circulating on social media. The video showed citizens being harmed by an individual who defrauded and deceived them, seizing their money under the pretext of investing it for them in car and real estate trade in Monufiya, and then failing to fulfill his promises.

Upon investigation, it was found that the individuals appearing in the video had filed several reports against (a teacher “with a criminal record” – resident of Al-Bajur police station in Monufiya Governorate), for defrauding and deceiving them and seizing financial amounts from them totaling approximately 2.5 million Egyptian pounds.
The hiding place of the accused was identified in Matrouh Governorate. After legal procedures were formalized, he was apprehended. When confronted, he confessed to committing the incident as described, and legal measures were taken.
