Today marks the seventh day of the Spring Festival travel rush. National railways are expected to carry 13.25 million passengers, with plans to add 1,688 extra passenger trains.
On the highways, as of 7 a.m. today, due to snowfall and icy road conditions, proactive closure and control measures have been implemented on 30 sections of national and provincial trunk roads across four provinces: Shanxi, Sichuan, Guizhou, and Xinjiang. Among these, 14 sections have closed their main lanes, and 16 sections have closed their toll stations.
Civil aviation nationwide is expected to handle 19,614 flights today, offering 2.97 million seats, with an estimated 2.39 million passengers to be transported.
