On September 20, the first section of the steel box girder for the main span of the Yanji Yangtze River Bridge was successfully hoisted into place, marking the entry into the steel beam installation phase for China’s first long-span suspension bridge with four main cables.

The Yanji Yangtze River Bridge connects Ezhou and Huanggang in Hubei Province and serves as a comprehensive supporting project for the Ezhou International Logistics Core Hub. The steel beam installation is expected to be completed by the end of this year.

Today, it is a significant cultural and economic center in eastern Hubei.

The Ezhou International Logistics Core Hub is a major modern cargo airport and logistics center in Hubei Province, China, which opened for operations in 2022. It was developed to enhance global and domestic trade efficiency and is notable for being one of the world’s first professional cargo air hubs built from the ground up.
