The 5th Global Media Innovation Forum will open in Chongqing on June 10. The forum is jointly hosted by China Media Group and the Chongqing Municipal People’s Government, with the theme “Upholding and Reshaping: The Mission of Media in the Intelligent Age.” The event will bring together around 300 representatives from multiple countries and regions to discuss media transformation and responsibility amid the wave of intelligence.

Guests at this forum include not only heads of international organizations and major international media outlets, but also representatives from Chinese and foreign think tanks, foreign and multinational enterprises, and leading technology companies.
During the event, participants will engage in deep exchanges through keynote speeches and panel discussions, sharing cutting-edge perspectives on technological change and mutual learning among civilizations, and exploring how media can work together to build a fairer, clearer, and more prosperous global media communication landscape in the intelligent age.
Major achievements unveiled to lead media innovation trends
Several significant outcomes will be released during the forum, including a new generation of AI media application platform independently developed by China Media Group, and a global fact-checking platform jointly created by China Media Group with mainstream global media and think tanks. The China Media Group Research Institute will also release a thematic report on AI development and governance, systematically presenting practical achievements in AI-driven development and governance, providing an authoritative reference for global media.
Premium content showcased with technology and humanities intertwined
A series of innovative content projects from China Media Group will be presented at the forum, including embodied intelligence IP activities such as the “CMG 2026 Robot Combat Competition” and international music events. The former promotes human-AI co-evolution, while the latter builds a bridge of mutual learning among civilizations through music. Additionally, documentaries and TV dramas will be launched, reflecting on historical events and writing new chapters for the mountain city.
Multiple sub-forums for deep discussion with diverse topics
In addition to the main forum, several sub-forums and keynote sessions will be held, exploring cutting-edge topics such as artificial intelligence and human spirit, the era of human-machine symbiosis, and the intelligent wave from a South-South perspective.
