Notice on the Retail Prices of Motor Gasoline and Diesel in Shanghai

In accordance with the relevant notice from the National Development and Reform Commission, the following is hereby notified regarding the retail prices of motor gasoline and diesel in this city:

1. The maximum retail prices per ton for 89-octane gasoline and 0-grade diesel are 10,910 yuan and 9,820 yuan respectively. The maximum retail prices for each grade of gasoline and diesel are detailed in the attached table.

Each refined oil retail enterprise may independently set specific retail prices, provided they do not exceed the maximum retail price.

2. The pricing methods for the maximum supply prices and maximum wholesale prices of gasoline and diesel shall still follow the relevant provisions of Document No. [2008] 019 issued by the Municipal Development and Reform Commission.

3. The above adjustments shall take effect from 24:00 on May 21, 2026.
