Gaode Map is the largest aggregated ride-hailing platform in China. Last year, it launched the “Street Sweeping List,” further extending its business layout into the lifestyle and consumption sectors. Municipal leaders observed product demonstrations of the capital’s cultural tourism consumption map and system presentations for traffic accident warning, prevention, and refined congestion management. It was emphasized that the platform’s advantages should be leveraged to optimize data and algorithms, expand new technologies and scenarios such as digital maps and smart transportation, and enhance travel services for the elderly. It is important to connect consumption resources and actively promote Beijing’s distinctive consumer brands. Efforts should be accelerated to establish systems for data property rights attribution and strengthen data security management. Platform travel data should be utilized effectively for research and analysis to aid in traffic congestion management.

The International Commercial Arbitration Center (Beijing) physical platform is a key component in building our city’s demonstration zone for the integration of international law and commerce. Municipal leaders learned about the platform’s construction and operation, reviewed displays of development achievements, the shared international arbitration hall, and the circuit tribunal of the international commercial court, and exchanged views with arbitrators and representatives of international institutions. It was pointed out that management mechanisms need to be improved to cultivate and introduce first-class arbitration institutions and top-tier legal talent. Active participation in formulating arbitration rules is encouraged to provide “one-stop, full-chain” services for commercial litigation, mediation, and arbitration, offering strong support for Beijing to create a world-class business environment.

The Chaowai Youth Power Center (THE BOX) is an urban renewal project characterized by trendy consumption. Municipal leaders learned about the project and the surrounding area’s urban renewal, observing formats such as art curation, fashion trends, and pet-friendly spaces. During the research, it was noted that efforts must focus on unleashing residents’ consumption potential. Employment and income growth should be prioritized, increasing urban and rural residents’ income through multiple channels to enhance their consumption capacity. The foundational role of a multi-level social security system should be strengthened, improving the quality and balance of public services in education, healthcare, culture, and sports. Focusing on livelihood needs, it is important to develop life services such as housekeeping, elderly care, and childcare, and densify the network of convenient commercial service outlets. The “Two New” policies should be implemented well, increasing the intensity of inclusive policies directly benefiting consumers. The consumption environment should be optimized, and consumer rights protected.

It was emphasized that efforts must focus on enriching high-quality consumption supply. Changes in population structure should be grasped to lead and create new demand with high-quality supply. The construction of an international consumption center city should be deepened, expanding the supply of high-quality goods and services, promoting the renovation of key business districts, encouraging first stores, first launches, premieres, debut exhibitions, and debut shows, vigorously developing digital consumption, domestic trend consumption, and the ice and snow economy, cultivating more new consumption scenarios such as leisure, fashion, waterfront, and nighttime activities, and accelerating the development of new urban vitality areas like the Olympic Center
