Weifang Maritime Safety Administration
The Weifang Maritime Safety Administration is a regional branch of China’s maritime regulatory authority, responsible for overseeing navigation safety, vessel inspections, and maritime operations in the Weifang port area of Shandong Province. It operates under the national framework established by the People’s Republic of China to ensure maritime safety and enforce maritime laws.
Bohai Sea
The Bohai Sea is a semi-enclosed inland sea of China, located near the country’s northeastern coast. Historically, it was a significant center for the Bohai Kingdom (698-926 AD) and has long been a vital region for maritime trade, fishing, and salt production in China.
Weifang Port
Weifang Port is a major seaport located in Shandong Province, China, on the southern shore of the Bohai Sea. Historically, the area’s development was driven by its strategic location and the regional salt industry. Today, it is a modern, comprehensive port that serves as a crucial transportation hub for northern China, handling bulk cargo, containers, and supporting the area’s industrial and economic growth.
