On August 4, it was reported that the National Data Bureau has initiated the deployment of national data element pilot zones in 10 provinces, including Beijing, Liaoning, Zhejiang, Anhui, Shandong, Henan, Hubei, Hunan, Hainan, and Guizhou. These zones aim to support local efforts in fostering market entities and expanding the data market through experimental reforms. Each region will tailor its approach to advance the pilot zones, accelerate the exploration of data marketization and value realization, and fully unleash the synergies between the real economy and the digital economy.
Moving forward, the National Data Bureau will intensify support for the pilot zones, conduct timely evaluations, summarize best practices, and promote mutual learning to achieve “innovation in one place, replication nationwide.”
