As the current typhoon and its accompanying heavy rainfall have ended, and the water levels in rivers across the province have stabilized, in accordance with the “Guangdong Province Flood, Drought, Wind, and Freezing Emergency Response Plan” and relevant regulations of the Provincial Flood Control Headquarters, the Provincial Flood Control Headquarters has decided to terminate the Level IV flood emergency response at 18:00 on August 15.

Currently, the base water levels in Guangdong’s rivers remain high, and soil moisture is saturated. All regions and departments must remain vigilant, closely monitor subsequent rainfall, water levels, and wind conditions, strengthen dike inspections, emergency response efforts, and geological disaster prevention measures. Strict management of relocated individuals must be enforced, and unauthorized returns to risk areas are prohibited until hazards are fully resolved. Efforts should be accelerated to repair damaged infrastructure and restore normal production and living conditions in affected areas as soon as possible.
