Based on online attention and comprehensive evaluations from various regions and units, 69 brave individuals have been honored on the list of righteous and courageous heroes.

The honored righteous and courageous heroes include:

Those who risked danger during flood season storms and rescued multiple people;

Those who stepped forward and bravely fought against suspects armed with knives;

A female auxiliary police officer who rescued a child from a 40-meter deep well with low temperature and oxygen deprivation;

The leader of the 27th Chinese medical team to Tanzania who sacrificed his life while rescuing local residents, embodying the spirit of friendship between Chinese and African people.

Among this list, 11 heroes sacrificed their precious lives to protect the lives and property of others.

The quarterly selection of righteous and courageous heroes has been conducted 11 times since September 2022, with 607 righteous and courageous heroes receiving honors.
