Today, it has been learned that the subsidy program for scrapping and replacing old commercial trucks will commence on August 21, 2025.
The subsidy funds for this program will be allocated on a monthly basis with a total cap. From August to December 2025, August to November will each have a subsidy quota of 30 million yuan, while December will have a quota of 12 million yuan.
Eligible Applicants: Entities (including enterprises and individuals) that have obtained road freight transport permits.
Application Principle: Subsidy funds follow the principle of “monthly control, no district/county restrictions, first-come-first-served, until funds are exhausted.” If the monthly funds are used up, applications will be suspended; any unused funds will automatically roll over to the next month, except for December, where unclaimed funds will not carry over to the next year. Subsidy standards and application channels remain as specified in Document No. 20 [2025].
Application Period: Online applications open at 10:00 on August 21. Applications will close once the monthly subsidy quota is filled. From September to December, online applications will open at 10:00 on the second working day of each month (i.e., September 2, October 10, November 4, December 2) and close once the monthly quota is filled.
Application Method: Through the app, search for and enter the relevant section, then select “Application for Subsidy for Scrapping and Replacing Old Commercial Trucks” under “Convenience Services.”
