On June 3, a medium-sized multi-rotor drone carrying emergency blood samples took off smoothly from the new campus of Renji Hospital (Chongqing Fifth People’s Hospital) affiliated with Chongqing University. This marked the official launch of a low-altitude medical supplies and blood delivery project in Nan’an District, Chongqing, establishing a minute-level response “airborne lifeline” for emergency blood, rare medications, and other life-saving supplies. The initiative truly achieves “township-wide coverage” for medical supply deliveries, allowing grassroots residents in remote towns and streets to access high-quality testing and emergency resources from a top-tier hospital right at their doorstep.
