On the morning of September 1, the 25th meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization member states was held at the Tianjin Meijiang Convention and Exhibition Center. The President chaired the meeting and delivered an important speech.
The President emphasized: Uphold pragmatism and efficiency. Continue to advance the reform of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, strengthen resource investment and capacity building, to make the organization’s mechanisms more complete, decision-making more scientific, and actions more efficient. Activate the Comprehensive Center for Responding to Security Threats and Challenges and the Anti-Drug Center as soon as possible, and complete the establishment of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Development Bank promptly, to provide stronger support for the security and economic cooperation of member states.
