According to the weather forecast from the Sichuan Provincial Meteorological Observatory, from 20:00 on the 29th to 20:00 on the 30th, the western and northern parts of the basin will be cloudy to overcast with showers or thunderstorms. Some areas in Guangyuan, Mianyang, Deyang, Bazhong, and Dazhou cities will experience moderate rain, with localized heavy to torrential rain. The rest of the basin will be mainly cloudy. Most of the western Sichuan plateau and the Panxi region will be cloudy to overcast with thunderstorms or showers. Some areas in the central and southern parts of Ganzi Prefecture, the southern part of Aba Prefecture, and the Panxi region will see moderate rain, with localized heavy rain.
On the other hand, the Sichuan Provincial Department of Natural Resources and the Sichuan Provincial Meteorological Bureau have issued the provincial geological disaster meteorological risk warning forecast results from 20:00 on August 29 to 20:00 on August 30.

Response Requirements
● Closely monitor weather forecasts and actual rainfall conditions, conduct consultations to analyze the development trends of geological disasters, and increase the frequency of geological disaster meteorological risk level forecasts as appropriate;
● Check the implementation of the disaster prevention responsibility system;
● Increase inspections and monitoring of dangerous areas such as slopes in front of and behind houses, areas near mountains and cliffs, and gully mouths;
● Ensure monitoring, early warning, and the issuance of warning information;
● Urge and guide relevant departments (units) to prepare for the evacuation of threatened populations according to their职责分工, and when necessary, organize and guide the early evacuation of people in severely threatened areas to ensure their safety;
● Prepare for emergency response to sudden geological disasters.
