Since successfully hosting the United Nations Fourth World Conference on Women in 1995, our country has firmly implemented the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action, consistently serving as an important participant, promoter, and leader in global women’s development. Particularly since entering the new era, our country’s women’s development has achieved comprehensive advancement across all fronts, contributing vivid examples of “Chinese governance” to the world.

Now, through the personal initiative of President Xi Jinping, our country will host another global women’s summit on the 30th anniversary of the Beijing World Conference on Women, injecting new momentum into promoting global women’s development.
