August 8-12: Squash

Event Overview:
This event features squash, a sport originating in 19th-century England that debuted at the World Games in 1997. Squash will make its Olympic debut at the 2028 Los Angeles Games. Players hit the ball against the back wall or close to the side walls to force opponents to move laterally, making it difficult to return effectively.
The day’s matches include the eighth and ninth sessions of squash.

Event Overview:
This event features outdoor Faustball, a team sport where two teams of five players each hit the ball over a net with their fists, similar to volleyball. A point is scored when the opposing team fails to return the ball. Unlike other net sports, the ball is allowed to bounce once before being hit.
