Previous Governments Ruined Delhi, New BJP Government is Working
Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the country’s first 8-lane elevated highway on Sunday. Along with this Dwarka Expressway, which runs from Gurugram to Delhi IGI Airport, the Urban Extension Road-2 was also inaugurated.
PM Modi pressed a remote button to inaugurate the Dwarka Expressway and Urban Extension Road-2. The cost of these two projects is 11 thousand crore rupees. This expressway will provide relief from traffic jams for people between Delhi and Gurugram.
After the inauguration, PM Modi said that we have to make Delhi a model of development from where everyone feels that this is the capital Delhi of a developing India.
According to media reports, before arriving at the event, PM Modi visited the Dwarka Expressway. There, he spoke with the laborers working on the expressway to learn about their experiences. After that, he took information about the project from the officials.
On the way to the event venue, the PM did a roadshow from Rohini to Bakkarwala, during which he got out of the car to greet the people standing on both sides of the highway. The event was also attended by the Union Transport Minister, the Delhi CM, and the Haryana CM.
PM Modi said that after a long time, a BJP government has been formed in Delhi. We see that the previous governments of Delhi ruined Delhi. I know that it will take a lot of time for the new BJP government to revive Delhi. First, time will be spent filling potholes, then some work will be visible, but I am confident that this government will pull Delhi out of the problems of the past decades.
He said that our government is going to free the people of Delhi from every trouble. I am happy that under the leadership of the CM, the BJP government in Delhi is engaged in cleaning the Yamuna. So far, sixteen lakh metric tons of waste have been removed from the Yamuna. In a very short time, six hundred and fifty EV electric buses have been started in Delhi. In the future, EV buses will cross the figure of two thousand.
PM Modi said that both these roads are built magnificently. After the Peripheral Extension, the Delhi Urban Extension is going to get facilities very soon. Millions of tons of waste were used in building the Urban Extension Road, meaning that a mountain of garbage was reduced to build the road.
He said that the central government has worked at different levels for this. We have done unprecedented development in ten years. In terms of metro, Delhi NCR has one of the world’s largest metro markets. In eleven years, commuting in Delhi NCR has become easier than before.
PM Modi said, friends, the pledge we have taken to make Delhi a better city continues. Even today we all became witnesses to this. He said – the expressway is named Dwarka, the place where this event is happening is named Rohini, the joy of Janmashtami, coincidentally I am also from the land of Dwarkadhish. The whole atmosphere has become filled with Krishna.
He said that this month of August is colored in the colors of freedom and revolution. Amidst this festival of freedom, today the country’s capital Delhi is witnessing the development revolution happening in the country. Delhi has received connectivity from the Dwarka Expressway and the Urban Extension Road.
This will increase the convenience of the people of Delhi, Gurugram, and the NCR. Commuting will become easier, time will be saved. The business-trader class, our farmers, are going to get special benefits. I congratulate all the people of Delhi NCR for these modern roads.
