Washington, September 17, 2025: Prime Minister Modi continues to receive birthday wishes from around the world on his 75th birthday. Argentine superstar footballer Lionel Messi has also sent a signed 2022 FIFA World Cup jersey to PM Modi for his birthday.

Meanwhile, Hollywood singer Mary Milburn sang a song for PM Modi. Additionally, Italy’s Prime Minister Meloni congratulated Modi and praised his leadership. Several world leaders, including Russian President Putin, Israeli PM Netanyahu, and New Zealand PM Christopher Luxon, also extended birthday greetings to Modi.

Messi will visit India this year on December 13. He will first go to Kolkata, then arrive in Mumbai on December 14, and reach Delhi on December 15. In Delhi, he may also meet with PM Modi. Messi last visited India in 2011.

Trump Was the First to Congratulate

US President Trump was the first to wish Modi, calling him at 10:53 PM on Tuesday night. At 11:30 PM, Trump shared details of the conversation with the PM on his social media platform Truth.

Trump wrote, ‘Just had a phone conversation with my friend, Narendra Modi. I wished him a happy birthday. He is doing an amazing job. Thank you, Narendra, for your cooperation in ending the war between Russia and Ukraine.’

Responding to Trump’s wishes, Modi wrote on X, ‘Thank you, my friend, President Trump. Like you, I also wish to take our partnership to new heights. We support a peaceful resolution to the Ukraine conflict.’

Meanwhile, Italian PM Meloni congratulated Modi and praised his leadership. Additionally, Israeli PM Netanyahu, New Zealand PM Christopher Luxon, and several other world leaders also extended birthday greetings to Modi.
