President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. checked the distribution of assistance for approximately 2,200 families affected by a fire that struck a residential area in Happy Land in Tondo, Manila.

Marcos visited Gen. Vicente Lim Elementary School to check on the victims.

He assured the victims that the government would exhaust all measures to help them.

“We will do everything so that you can return to your normal lives,” Marcos said.

At least three people sustained injuries after a fire broke out over the weekend.

The fire was extinguished on Sunday morning after reaching Task Force Bravo.

Fire authorities said there were no fatalities.
