Chongqing City Football Super League Kicks Off in 2025
On the evening of September 13th, the “New Rhyme Chongqing, Yu Super Together” 2025 Chongqing City Football Super League (referred to as “Yu Super”) kicked off at Chongqing Datianwan Stadium. The home team, Yuzhong Peninsula, defeated Jiulong Xinyuan Panda 3-2, securing a winning start in the “Yu Super”. It is reported that the “Yu Super” includes teams from 38 districts and counties of Chongqing, along with Liangjiang New Area, Chongqing High-tech Zone of Western Science City, and Wansheng Economic Development Zone, totaling 41 teams. The competition is divided into five major zones: Central Urban Area, Western Chongqing, Eastern New City, Northeastern Three Gorges Reservoir Area, and Southeastern Wuling Mountain Area. Spanning 8 months, a total of 178 matches will be played, making it the largest city football league in the country. The photo shows players from both teams entering the field.
