The District Collector has appealed to schools, colleges, universities, and citizens of the district to register in maximum numbers for the upcoming Khel Mahakumbh-2025 and Madhya Pradesh Sports Festival. The Collector stated that the registration process for Khel Mahakumbh-2025 began on August 29 and will continue until September 22. He mentioned that the registration progress in Rajkot district has been satisfactory so far, but all educational institutions and rural-urban citizens should take maximum advantage of this opportunity.
He said that sports are not just a means of entertainment but also an important medium for health and personality development. Therefore, every section of society should participate in these events to further strengthen the sports culture.
It is noteworthy that the registration process can be completed online (https://khelmahakumbh.gujarat.gov.in). Registration through schools is mandatory for competitions in the Under-9, Under-11, Under-14, and Under-17 categories. Khel Mahakumbh-2025 will feature special competitions such as weightlifting, fencing, boxing, shooting, gymnastics, mallakhamb, soft tennis, sport climbing, rollball, sepak takraw, woodball, and yoga, organized in groups.
