Moscow’s budget revenues for the first six months of 2025 grew by almost 10% and reached 2.6 trillion rubles. The annual revenue plan has been 50% fulfilled.
Positive dynamics are observed across all major sources. The greatest growth was shown by personal income tax and revenues from special tax regimes.
Main sources of growth:
- Tax revenues increased by more than 8% and amounted to 2.244 trillion rubles, forming over 87% of the budget.
- Personal income tax grew by 9%, to 975 billion rubles.
- Payments under special tax regimes increased by 15%, to 192 billion rubles. The growth was driven by the development of small and medium-sized businesses, as well as an increase in the number of self-employed individuals.
- The most dynamically growing sectors were the IT sector (+10%, to 182 billion rubles) and the manufacturing industry (+8%, to 166 billion rubles).
