In the final training session on the field on the morning of September 1, the sweat, tears, and proud smiles of the public security soldiers ignited a spirit of readiness for the historic parade moment tomorrow, September 2.
On the morning of September 1, on the vast training field at Vietnam National University, Hanoi, the sound of thundering footsteps blended with the rhythm of shouted commands in the early misty space.
This was the final training session for the public security soldiers before officially stepping into the Parade and March Ceremony commemorating the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day on September 2.
On the training field this morning, there were tight hugs, sweat, and tears from the officers and soldiers shed on this special day.
Farewell to the training field of fiery days and rainstorms
Soldier Nguyen Tung Lam – a student at the People’s Security Academy, participating in the Male Officer Block for Cybersecurity and High-Tech Crime Prevention – said this morning’s training session carried many unforgettable emotions.
Lam came to the field early and saw many people waiting to watch the training blocks. He was impressed by the image of a veteran raising his hand in salute to the troops with emotion, and a child innocently waving, their clear eyes shining brightly with pride. “That moment made my heart suddenly choke up,” Lam said.

The soldier recounted that when standing in the ranks, he suddenly remembered the early days of training, when the steps were still clumsy, the lines not yet even, and sweat dripped on the scorching field surface under the sweltering summer heat.
“It all became a harsh but proud training journey. Today, looking at the straight rows of troops, hearing the synchronized footsteps as one, I clearly see the growth and will of the entire force. Each step is not just a technical move, but the beat of a heart synchronized with the heartbeat of the Fatherland,” Lam shared emotionally.

Lam said he and his comrades had not just completed an ordinary training session, but “a training session to bid farewell to the training field of those fiery days and rainstorms, to say goodbye to the people here.”
“Starting tomorrow, when stepping onto the historic square, I know I will no longer be alone. I will be part of the majestic parade block of the nation, the footsteps extending the immortal autumns of the country.
Each step will be a message to our forefathers – we will never forget the blood and bones that previous generations shed to gain independence and freedom. Each step is also a promise to the people today that our youth will live worthily, will dedicate fully to preserve this beautiful land,” Lam expressed.
