Krasnodar Officers of the OMON “Storm-South” unit of the Russian National Guard’s Main Directorate for the Krasnodar Krai destroyed ammunition discovered in the khutor of Mekkerstuk in the Krymsky District, according to the department’s press service.
The dangerous find, consisting of four mortar mines and two artillery shells, was discovered by workers during the cultivation of a vineyard. The ammunition dates back to the 1940s and shows signs of corrosion. They were transported to a quarry and destroyed.
