According to data released today (24th) by the National Energy Administration’s official WeChat account, in July this year, the national electricity market transaction volume reached 624.6 billion kilowatt-hours, a year-on-year increase of 7.4%. Among this, intra-provincial transaction volume was 461.4 billion kilowatt-hours, up 7.3% year-on-year; cross-province and cross-region transaction volume was 163.2 billion kilowatt-hours, up 7.9% year-on-year. Green electricity transaction volume was 25.6 billion kilowatt-hours, a year-on-year increase of 43.2%.
From January to July this year, the cumulative national electricity market transaction volume reached 3.59 trillion kilowatt-hours, a year-on-year increase of 3.2%, accounting for 61.2% of the total electricity consumption in society, down 0.9 percentage points year-on-year. Among this, intra-provincial transaction volume was 2.73 trillion kilowatt-hours, up 1.6% year-on-year; cross-province and cross-region transaction volume was 855.8 billion kilowatt-hours, up 9% year-on-year. Green electricity transaction volume was 181.7 billion kilowatt-hours, a year-on-year increase of 42.1%.
