The “One Third of the Sacrifice” initiative succeeded, with integrated efforts to ensure the safety of procedures, quality of meat, and delivery of donations to their rightful recipients in partnership with accredited associations.
This initiative is part of a community initiative aimed at enhancing social solidarity during the Eid al-Adha season, in cooperation with the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, to enable charitable associations to receive the third of the sacrifices designated for the needy, prepare it, and distribute it to deserving families.
The initiative allows users to register their data through the “One Third” platform to donate a third of the sacrifice easily. Accredited charitable associations handle the meat from participating slaughterhouses, cutting, packaging, storing it, and then delivering it to needy families through an organized mechanism that preserves the dignity of the beneficiaries and adheres to the highest standards of quality and food safety.
