President Xi Jinping Appoints and Removes Ambassadors Abroad

Based on the decision of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress, President Xi Jinping of the People’s Republic of China has appointed and removed the following ambassadors:

1. Removed Wang Yingwu from the position of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to the Republic of Cameroon;

Appointed Xu Yong as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to the Republic of Cameroon.

2. Removed Huang Wei from the position of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to the Republic of Guinea;

Appointed Sun Yong as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to the Republic of Guinea.

3. Removed Xu Jie from the position of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to the Republic of Cape Verde;

Appointed Zhang Yang as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to the Republic of Cape Verde.

4. Removed Guo Zhijun from the position of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to the Union of the Comoros;

Appointed Huang Zheng as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to the Union of the Comoros.

5. Removed Ji Shumin from the position of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to the Republic of Tajikistan;

Appointed Guo Zhijun as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to the Republic of Tajikistan.

6. Removed Qian Naicheng from the position of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Turkmenistan;

Appointed Ji Shumin as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Turkmenistan.

7. Removed Lu Shan from the position of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Burkina Faso;

Appointed Zhao Deyong as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Burkina Faso.

8. Removed Chen Daojiang from the position of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Jamaica;

Appointed Wang Jinfeng as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Jamaica.

9. Removed Yan Xiusheng from the position of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Barbados;

Appointed Zheng Bingkai as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Barbados.

10. Removed Han Zhiqiang from the position of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to the Kingdom of Thailand;

Appointed Zhang Jianwei as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to the Kingdom of Thailand.
