Osaka Governor Inspects Flying Car Demonstration Flight at Expo 2025 Osaka-Kansai
The Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan is currently being held in Konohana Ward, Osaka City until Monday, October 13, 2025!
At the ‘EXPO Vertiport’, demonstration flights are being conducted every Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday until Sunday, August 24, 2025.
On August 18, 2025, the Governor of Osaka Prefecture inspected a demonstration flight of the flying car “SKYDRIVE (SkyDrive Model SD-05)”!
The Governor of Osaka Prefecture actually got inside the vehicle, received an explanation of the aircraft and its performance, and was surprised by the simple control system.
The Governor of Osaka Prefecture commented, “The Expo gives rise to new technologies and new industries. I believe the flight of this flying car at this Expo is a major step towards an air mobility revolution,” expressing hope for this new mode of air transportation.
At ‘EXPO 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan’, technologies from various fields are on display in addition to the national pavilions.
