The former star of Sabah FC finally chose to return to Indonesia and joined the team, although he had received attractive offers from foreign clubs.
The confirmation of his joining also brought a breath of fresh air amid the exodus of players that the team, as the League 1 champions of the 2024/2025 season, was experiencing.
According to his agent, the team had been targeting him since the middle of last season.
