The Tangerang City Government is holding the 2025 Independence Ride on Sunday, August 24, 2025, starting at 06:00 WIB at the Benteng Reborn Stadium.

The event is intended to strengthen community togetherness, coinciding with the 80th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia.

It is hoped that this cycling activity will serve as a positive venue for the community to maintain physical fitness while enjoying the city atmosphere.

“We invite all citizens to participate. The Independence Ride is expected to be a venue for fostering relationships as well as a celebration of independence with a spirit of mutual cooperation,”

As an attraction, the committee has prepared various prizes, ranging from umrah packages, motorcycles, to bicycles for lucky participants.

Not only that, local bands from Tangerang City will also perform to enliven the atmosphere at the event location.

The route will see participants cover a distance of 8.5 kilometers, with the start and finish points at the Benteng Reborn Stadium. The journey begins at the stadium, passing through SMAN 2 Tangerang City, the Adipura Monument, and M. Yamin Street.

The route continues to the Metro Tangerang City Police Station, Potret Park, Sudirman Street, the PLN Cikokol Flyover, and the Mall Bale Kota area.

From there, participants will be directed towards the East Gate of Puspen, Electric Park, and the Public Service Mall area, before finishing back at the North Gate of Benteng Stadium.

Benteng Reborn Stadium
